Facebook is a rapidly growing social networking site. Here are some resources on why you should not use Facebook:

  • Facebook Privacy Exposed — frightening details about Facebook’s privacy policy and the Facebook funding connections.
  • CIA gets in your Facebook — “Since December 2006, the Central Intelligence Agency has been using Facebook.com, the popular social networking site, to recruit potential employees into its National Clandestine Service.”

  1. Hi! I read what they say at the Facebook policy, but when i check at it, i couldnt find the sentences anymore (10Jan08).
Have they changed the sentences? If so, i’d really appreciate support or evidences for such changes before i share it with others.
    Thank you!
(Keep up the good work buddy!)

  2. great article! i deleted my facebook account last month, which, btw, was a pain in the ass to do, over privacy concerns i had. i posted an article on my site months ago about facebook admin. claiming that privacy is NOT a social trend any more. sadly, i agree with their comments, but i do not agree with facebook giving privacy a “back seat”. last week, for curiosity sake, i “googled” my name, and guess what? my facebook account appeared at the TOP of the search results.???!!!
